Cell Definition

 

A cell is the basic unit of a worksheet in which data are entered and stored. The intersection of every row and every column on a worksheet forms one cell. A cell is typically referenced by the column location and row location to easily reference the exact cell location (i.e. cell A1 would be located at the intersection of column A and row 1).
